The Kitchen of Somewhere

Mental Health

With every copy of the book The Kitchen of Somewhere sold,

we will donate NZ$5 from every hardcover book sold

to the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.

The Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand is a charity that works towards creating a society free from discrimination, where all people enjoy positive mental health and wellbeing.

“At the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand, we are committed to

creating positive mental health outcomes for all New Zealanders

by providing access to free and essential information and resources,

and aiding those navigating mental health services,

supporting whānau or managing their own mental health.”

“With every purchase of the new cookbook, The Kitchen of Somewhere,

readers can be confident they are helping

to create a brighter future for all New Zealanders”

Sustainability

Every ingredient and item of Somewhere Kitchen equipment we promote or sell gives back through our Somewhere Food Fund. The funds are directed to various parts of the food supply chain,

from supporting Indigenous growers to fighting hunger.

We work with great partners who are working on the issues that matter to us and on each item, you will find information on how your purchase will make a difference.

Sustainability

Somewhere is also committed to prioritizing sustainability in our operations

and the partners we choose to work with.

We are members of Sustainable Travel International, to contribute to the offset carbon emissions and support the comprehensive work they do towards our shared goal of a sustainable travel.

Our books are printed on Forest Stewardship Council certified paper and all the ingredients we sell with our partner Outback Spirit Foods are sustainably sent via Sendle - support the protection of Tasmanian forests, in Australia.
